What happens if they took a mini nuke and detonated inside the CERN project?
Would the magnetic field contain the plasma field? If so, would you not get the same result as a neutron star or black hole as the gravitational/magnetic field contained and collapsed the energy onto itself?

And I think you would blow their equipment to smithereens, so it wouldn't have any different effect than doing so in any other populated location.

Not a big one - in theory I wonder if you could make your own star? You supply a super heated plasma/fusion ball and compress it within a strong magnetic field. Might solve some energy issues?
