in the bible there are two references to the morning star...
one is at the beginning and one is at the end :)

Lucifer = Jupiter = Zeus

Been having the same thoughts exactly for some time already, and this issue has been coming up very strong especially during the last two weeks or so.

Lucifer = Light Bearer = Morning Star = Venus etc.

Doesn't sound too "bad" to me at all.

If you want some ancient correlations to Lucifer, read the titanomachy and the story of Prometheus (who was the representation of Lucifer in Greko-Roman mythology)...

According to them he was the Champion of man among the gods, yet he was never worshipped by the masses, only by small secret societies of the Elite. But some Prometheus worship symbolism survives today! The Olympic flame, and the eternal flame on graves are just two examples of this...
