No one at GLP cares they may not have internet?? Because you know if they are announcing it might be 350,000. it'll will probably be 3.5 million. And once they turn our internet back on, our computers are infected with who knows what kind of spyware.

If the virus in "invisible" and "undetectable" how does the FBI know you have it on your computer?

I guess it's plausible. I don't picture the government providing us with this service for so long to begin with. At the outset of discovering the "virus" when it first infected these computers, couldn't some software or similar program be installed to redirect the sick computers to another server. Rather than sending them to government ones? At taxpayer expense?

Isn't it funny how there's a *fix,* with a friendly federal computer scan?

It is unknown how many computers are infected, so it makes sense that this "friendly" public service announcement is now circulating on MSM.

There's a lot about this that doesn't add up.

Very much so!
Has anyone been told they specifically have the computer virus?
If not, then EVERYONE should assume they might have it and proceed directly to the friendly website THEY created to "clean" your computer.

but if you don't go to their website for a check, does that mean you suddenly won't have internet? Something to keep an eye on......

As a reminder:

Internet blackout for thousands coming Monday

Hundreds of thousands of Internet users whose computers are infected with a particularly nasty virus will be unable to access the Web starting on Monday.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation will shut down Internet servers that it temporarily set up to support those affected by malicious software, called DNSChanger. Turning off those servers will knock all those still infected offline.
