Man Pulled Over By Cops For An Air Freshener

Obviously this guy broke the law and was pulled over to discover he was breaking more laws.

Until I was sitting in my truck in a store parking lot eating my lunch when a big rig tractor jumped the curb and plowed into my truck, blowing several disks in my neck and back and shattering my knee. I used to think 'What's the big deal about mandatory insurance?'

While I was completely covered, auto, medical, the guy who was 'driving' (I use that word loosely) the big rig tractor wasn't insured, was 100% drunk, was driving with out a suspended license.

MY insurance had to cover everything - that meant MY premiums went up, that means that I had to pay out the nose.

Now days I hear of someone driving without insurance and I wish that somebody would keel haul them.

Until it happens to you, you can't fully understand the misery.

In the state of Maryland which boarders DC, you are not required to carry proof of insurance while operating a vehicle etc, but once you cross over to DC you have to show proof if you are pulled over. The guy has insurance, He just did not have his insurance card at the time he was being pulled over. I think DC government is out of their minds for issuing citiations for $800.00 just for not having proof. We all need to start monitoring our goverments very carefully because they are getting out of control at a rapid pace.

People, you should know the difference between lawful and legal. Statutes are legal. If they write it down and vote yes on it, that is legal. Legal doesn't have to be lawful. Look up 12USC411. The federal reserve note is legal, but not lawful. This guy didn't break the law. He did not infringe on anyone's rights. He caused NO demonstrable damages. The plaintif can not show any damages, yet they take him to court and sue him for damages. The plaintiff, by any state or federal standing rules, HAS NO STANDING!!. Those who don't know and understand this will never be free.

i totally GET that, no damages to the OTHER person, but how do you fight a ticket this way?

No one should be paying the stupid shit in the first place. I think a lot of people who attack those who don't do it are just jealous they have the guts to do what they don't really. Imagine if EVERYONE stopped consenting to everything. Boy would it all change fast. But no for many it's easier to judge others who don't go along instead of looking in the mirror themselves and asking why they do.
