Odyssey 5. The show was cancelled under strange circumstances. Perhaps because of its secret messages?

Firefly is a space western series that was only on one awesome season, but it's huge cult following prompted a movie, Serenity.

Re: A good sci/fi series please.
damn, i just came back here to mention Odyssey 5. very good.
and not american. cancelled.

i tried to watch "the colony" as one "true sci-fi enthusiast" recommended here. it is UNWATCHABLE beacause of the "reality show" format, ten minutes of show, 20 minutes of whats done and whats coming (you can create a suction in the toilet by pouring a bucket of water in there)! and i find the whole concept stupid because in the post-apocalyptic situation the very worst thing you can do is to stay in the city. you can easily take a dump in the hole. you really cant create a "real" situation with 10 weeks (or whatever it was) because the first thing you really need to do is start growing food not to build a coffe-machine.
the inventions may be genius, but they are unnecessary.
