Do any of you have a birthmark and if so where and what does it look like? Or do you know any notable people who may have one?
Quoting: KnightsTemplar.TV Not sure if this qualifies or not. I have one in my eye and my youngest child has the same mark. One of my ancestors was Sigurd Snake-in-the-eye. Some have suggested that the Lord of the Rings was based on this family line. His grandfathers nickname was "Ring" his great grandfathers name was Gandolf, who lived in Alfheim between raum Elf and Gaul Elf Rivers. You can find historical reference for some of this at [ link to en.wikipedia.org] One other family members name was Onund Treefoot Ofeigsson. While he didn't get this name because he was part tree it may have inspired J. R. R. Tolkien flights of fantasy. And like I say Behind every myth lies a mystery, and every legend holds an echo of the truth …… anonimalle Interesting topic op.
