people in states where fireworks are banned that in the future the government would send a man with a gun to your house to stop you from using fireworks to celebrate Independence Day they would be aghast. Cancelling fireworks wont stop the smog levels from going up. Look at forest fires, volcanic ash, when they erupt and numerous other items.

In Puerto Rico They Banned fireworks after CIA laced them with dynamite hurting 700+ people (1957) and everry new year still sounds like WWII battle of the bulge ....

In NY state, you can't even buy sparklers. Its one of the reasons I moved away from there. I'd rather not be treated like a fricking baby.

Indiana use to have a law against fireworks, but having a place in southern KY, we'd just go to Tennessee and buy them...then IN made them legal and required a $2 permit and you had to light them off in a designated area...LOL right...so then they said fuck it and we can buy and set them off anywhere...
