I've been wondering the same thing. To think that TPTB would be trying to whittle down the population so they can have greater control seemed far-fetched to me. Perhaps they DO know about something, which of course they likely would if there were something coming scientifically, and they are trying to prepare for the ensuing chaos. It would be unlikely (imho) that they would tell us about it and cause panic beforehand. The panic itself would be devastating on many levels and make it that much harder for them in the aftermath.

In all honesty I thought the Georgia Guidestones sounded really good. The only problem is I did not know how they were planning on achieving the .5B population. If it happens as a result of mass cosmic cataclysms(God's will so to speak)I think they are a great idea.
