on a day when we have had a 4 year old girl totally abused by these officers, with in a 1 week period a TSA smugling ring busted in NYC and a TSA officer busted for taking bribes to let people pass with coke on them.

now there is this artical about how there are handling thier background checks....they are just not.
hire first...back ground checks later...they are not even checking to see if new hires are on any of the watch lists....so here you can have a TSA officer who he himself is on a watch list stopping people for being mistakenly put on a watch list

that would be the good side of a lack of background check.
here would be the bad...they hire a none terrorist as a TSA officer!....WTF!

repeat...WTF WTF WTF WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so an oficer can assist another terrorist...known ones...in carring out their dirty acts!!!!!

then there is the chance they hire just the run of the mill crook that steals thing from your luggage.

ATLANTA —
In a move that could affect security at airports around the nation, the Transportation Security Administration confirmed Wednesday it had such a backlog of background security checks, airport employers were allowed to hire any employee needed.

TSA officials said the background checks are delayed, but they are processing them as fast as they can.

AS FAST AS THEY CAN? NOT!

TSA also will complete background checks on accepted applicants at a later date.

but we go through hell just to get on the plane.

TSA's offical statement....
"At no time was security at risk, and all new employees will still undergo identity verification and be subject to watchlist matching," said Allen

only after they were hired!

"You can't put unsecured people or people that you haven't checked in a secured environment," said Brown. "By that very definition, you've breached security."

now was the whole issue with the little girl, one where she went outside the "secure area" to hug her grandmother?

and now these areas have been compremised by the TSA's own polices.

they need to remove the department ASAP.
