He lived a perfect life, gave up his life to redeem those who would repent of their sins and believe in him, and He arose from the grave in victory over death. Quoting: Resister I follow Jesus the Christ/Messiah. Christ is the Greek word for anointed one, the equivalent of the Hebrew word Messiah which is the one who will come. Jesus is the fulfillment of prophesy as the anointed one who will come. The definition of the word Christian is follower of Christ. That's me. Any questions? The Christ isn't the Hebrew messiah. He does not represent YHVH. |

John 1 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. |

Daniel 9:25 “So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress.” Mathew 1:16 “The record of the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham: was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers. Judah was the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, Perez was the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Ram. Ram was the father of Amminadab, Amminadab the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon. Eliud was the father of Eleazar, Eleazar the father of Matthan, and Matthan the father of Jacob. Jacob was the father of Joseph the husband of Mary, by whom Jesus was born, who is called the Messiah.” John 4:25-26 “The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.” Mathew 16:13-17 “Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He was asking His disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” And they said, “Some say John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; but still others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.” He *said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.” "God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 |

If you do not control your tongue, your religion is worthless and you deceive yourself. Do Catholics not have Christ at the center of their religion? *Waits for people to argue that Catholics are not Christian because they secretly worship Mary or sacrifice goats to the Pope or something.* Ah well, doesn't really matter to be anyway because I voted AGNOSTIC. I'm happy to see there are many agnostics here. Atheists don't seem to realize their beliefs are as rooted in FAITH as the religious people they shun. If you don't see it with your own eyes, you can't prove it's there, and thinking you know it's there is not knowledge, but faith. Likewise, I don't think any atheist has been around enough to make an educated guess about the non-existence of (a) divine being(s). No one has enough information, or any information really, that even begins to suggest there is, or is not, some sort of divine being. We won't know that 'til we die. Actually, we might not even know then, because even assuming there is a God/Goddess/Gods, there's no necessary connection between a divine being and humans having immortal souls, or any soul at all. But of course that's all my opinion, so take it for what it's worth. :) |

Every evil you can imagine abounds in America more than any other place on Earth. The Lord's judgment is about to fall on America, and when it does, the entire planet will be shaken. you're terribly mistaken, research other countries like india and china for sin stricken places, not to mention the unreasonable punishments in most muslim communities for non muslims and anyone who denounces their faith in said belief system. america still has a large amount of good people compared to other countries you fool. |
