Re: Aliens don't need light bulbs on their ships...
I started thinking about this a lot and I just asked my self, why in the hell does a super advanced life form need all those colorful lights around the ship? Let's think about it for a second, all the videos we see on Youtube or other sites are always displaying some kind of circular ship with a lights all over it. If we are dealing with a super intelligent race, why would they need these lights on their ships? For example, our fighter planes do not have a ton of lights that can give away the location of the plane to the enemy. Look at the stealth fighters that the Air Force has, they have limited visual cues that can give away their location to the enemy. If Aliens are so damn advanced as we think they are, they wouldn't be decorating their ships with a LED party. It simply doesn't add up, if they are so damn advanced they wouldn't need them.

I might agree... for military craft. But our commercial aircraft are always lit up like a Christmas tree, right? Who's to say that the UFO's are not just commercial or tourist craft visiting?

The power source of a real UFO could illuminate the craft. Much like a rocket flame can be seen at night.

I see your point, but if we are talking super advanced interplanetary travelers, I would assume their methods of propulsion are way beyond a little high octane gasoline..
 Quoting: SimpleJack

No matter what that power source is, i.e, some type of quantum or warp drive, it's going to emit light regardless simply because of the amount of energy being used.

I completely respect your views I only respond to continue the debate. But what if they have an energy source that doesn't emit light? What if they a propulsion method that functions with magnetic energy?

Our thought process to identify the unknown is based on our Earth thinking, but I am sure there is way more beyond how we think. Our ancestors used Gods and mythical creatures to explain the unknown. Now we rationalize what we cannot comprehend with theories based around our scientific achievements up to this point. Who would have thought we would be cloning beings two hundred years ago? Or that we would have such a powerful computing device in the palm of our hands 40 years ago now that we have smart phones?

I see your point as well, there still would need to a means by which to produce the magnetic energy. However, maybe it doesn't require that much energy to, say, resonate a craft with existing magnetic energy already streaming through the universe. Leedskalnin's experiments show that you can send out magnetic energy in straight streams from a simple U magnet.

And whatever kind you send out you get the opposite back. That's why when radio waves reflect off of the ionosphere they come back as radar waves.

Here is a UFO patent based somewhat on what I described and quite in line with Leedskalnin's physics: [link to www.google.com]

they don't need the lights, they are putting on a show
when they don't want to be seen, they won't be

Exactly.

They are playful, almost kinky.

"What, you're gonna do the equivalent of doing donuts in a mustang 5.0 out front for attention?"

"Yes, but it is the only and the greatest thing that can be done now! Not a game!"

ooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It's an awakening.

Think when you were a baby. How did they try to catch your attention? With dark, obscure colours, or with clear, energetic ones? You paint a bay room with happy colours or you paint it black? Will the kid rather be attracted to the light colours or the dark tones?
