i'm calling bullshit on this, for the simple reason that modern fuel covers LOCK when the car is locked. In fact, if you zoom it up, you can even see the latch the lock fits into the cover when it locks.

people, we are in an age of DECEPTION, and you need to be able to see through bullshit like this.

Crown vic gas caps do not lock, you can buy aftermarket locks but the cops won’t do that.

None of my cars gas caps lock either. That might be a European thing, after all your fuel costs a LOT more then fuel in the states.

Don't know how they work in the UK, but gas caps don't lock when the car does here, at least I've never had a vehicle that did or heard of one.

I wonder what the penalty is for a crime like this. My guess is a couple months of community service.

All European cars have locking gas caps.
As soon as you press the remote for the doors the gas lid is locked also.

Don't worry it will soon come to the USA then your fuel reaches $2 a liter.

If he was seriously stealing gas you think he would be using a skinny aquarium tube? He'd be there a long time just for a few gallons.

Can't use big tubes anymore cause of the anti-siphon devices in gas tanks now a days. I do think he was joking but at the same time, not very smart.

On a side note it seems police vehicles are starting to become targets. I'm in the Wichita area, just recently a cop car was set on fire, outside of the officers home.
