SWAT teams surround Seattle 'survivalist's' bunker

Any Prepper with a bit of sense would NEVER have "1 way in... 1 way out" of a bunker. You always have a "second" JICTSHTF "exit" strategy as well as using this bunker daily in the event of WORL, you never risk coming and going from the same place twice.

There should be munitions of some sort that would pretty much take care of the group of intruders once all have entered the bunker... "Boom goes the Dynamite" as they say on ESPN.

and there should be a "back way" out for the bunkerist.

Good luck to the feds if they decide to breech ;)... and the longer they wait, the longer any smart "bunkerist" would be bugged out.

If guilty of murder... I suggest a larger perimeter and remote/drone type entry into said bunker... Teargas? HaHa... He has this base covered if he has a bunker.

As these things happen, this is the time to take notes and observe how they as in the police handle things.

Here's a couple thoughts:

1. if the man weren't a survivalist, would we hear about this at all?

2. if the bunker is so tough, then what information do they have to make them think the family inside is murdered or even modestly uncomfortable?

3. If he is well off enough to build such a bad ass bunker, then where are his lawyers to speak for him now?

4. Why is it pinned on GLP instead of an emergency bulletin on CNN?

The predictors of happiness for an fbi profiler are severely limited.

Most of you guys are not familiar with the area that he built his bunker, so you would not know how it is laid out and how many people are in and around it.

This trail head is like Wal Mart. There are people in and out of it all the time. That means that people are hiking and combing the area like ants.

It does not make sense that the man would build his bunker in such a congested area.

Like the Zimmerman story presented by the media it has elements of fact but is mostly lies.

This doesn't sound like a survivalist bunker to me. Its more like what a homeless person would live in while he collected food stamps. In Florida a friend of mine said they call them "woodsmen" now. They can't afford to live in apartments and don't want to live in homeless shelters. Doesn't really sound like the guy they're hunting owns it but he very likely visited whoever lived there fairly often.
