everyone has the right to believe what they want to or do believe.as a psychiatrist let me point out that most people who believe in god or jesus aren't "out there somewhere"..the media is a good example as to where that notion comes from.evangelists that are nothing more than circus acts.most of the patients that i've had in the past ,who also are confessed christians are psychologically sound regarding that area of their life.they're not delusional 'nor so eccentric or extreme as to be dangerous to anyone and most aren't condescending of unbelievers.while they seem to believe morality is essential or required to have a relationship with god ,most of them i've had the oppertunity to speak to about their beliefs,are sane and caring people.ie,caring of others' problems and miseries.in fact a large percentage of people now in their 60's and older claim to be christians and were reared in families wherein a few,if not all of the family members were also christians.as a matter of fact,my grandparents follow the christian faith and are very devout,yet non extreme and their very caring and loving people.christianity is viewed in so lame of a light these days,i believe because of those extremists are heard so often on the television.
regarding the topic here,i believe that obama isn't in jail because nobody from either side wants to come up against the president of the usa.considering the kind of money and power that the presidents has,it would make an italian godfather look relativley wussarian in comparison.not to mention the media hopping in the middle of the situation and twisting and turning it's butt ugly lies and deciet toward the hero that so bravely put the culprit in cuffs.a number of reasons overall really but those two are at the top and other reasons listed underneath./an overall mess is what it would cause the person that should ever put him behind bars.that's the bottom line really.
