90% of doctors are legal drug dealers that care nothing for cures or care. Cures mean, no business which is why we cure nothing.

Doctors know drugs, not insurance or health spending. Unless the pharm rep has been educating them on health care plans while giving them the latest killer drug,,, they know nothing of it.

A doctor friend of mine sent this video to me...no surprise to you I'm sure, but what you don't know is how much it costs, to not only become a doctor, but the $250,000/year insurance for malpractice my cardiologist friend pays on top of not being paid crap by social insecurity for many procedures...sometimes even losing money, my dentist friend has told me that making some crowns and whatnot for SS patients costs him money as the materials are more than what they will pay, yet he has to accept them because he signed up for it...

Where do I start? Let's start with the quote from Nancy Pelosi. "We must pass the Bill to know what's in it." If you know anything about how a Bill becomes Law you know it usually starts in the House of Representatives. If it passes the House it goes to the Senate. They usually add or subtract things from it and if it passes with the changes it is sent back to the House to be voted on again with the changes. This is an oversimplified version but it will do to explain her comment. When asked what was going to be in the Bill, her response was she didn't know (yet). The Senate had not sent it back because they had not passed their version yet. Which she knew would be drastically changed to get enough votes in the Senate. So her statement was correct and honest.

Now for the Death Panels. The article referred to in the clip was not a Wall Street Journal "Article". It was an OP Ed piece written by an attorney who represents 26 States in the repeal of Obamacare. Hardly impartial. His name is David B. Rivkin. His Bio.

The Death Panel he refers to is a group who's job it is to price out services to make sure the tax payer isn't being taken. Someone (in this case a group of people) have to set prices that are reasonable. As for being a Death Panel, we have those now. They are called your insurance provider.

Let's talk about cost. Even at 1 trillion dollars over ten years it's still cheaper than the tax cuts Money I mean Romney want to give to his pals. It's also cheaper than the wars we are fighting. Plus after it is implamented fully the CBO estimates it will reduce the deficit by around one-half percent of GDP [gross domestic product].

So it would actually save money after time.

Why would the Gov. need to run something for a profit? If the Gov has a Social Program it would be for the people, making a profit would just be profiting off of ourselves. How about Medicare it only has an Administrative cost of 2% compared to Private insurers running at about 20%. Social Security is still a great success but you wouldn't know it listening to Republicans.

The elderly seem to think it works just fine. just try to take it off of them. As for Doctors I would rather see someone become a doctor because they have a desire to help humanity over someone who does it for the money.

They do, but when a person has to spend a million dollars in schooling and whatnot, including malpractice insurances...they need to earn big bucks...and the government is constantly changing the rules and what drugs are covered, making people choose between the medication that works vs eating, or one that sucks...

People like me should be able to opt out because SS won't be around for me to draw from, yet I pay in a ton to keep it going right now...the fund is bankrupt.

How is that Free Market system working out for ya in the price of College tuition?

As far as not getting Social Security, it's solvent for the next 75 years (how old are you? this is rhetorical). After that it will pay out 75% of current benefits. If needed a few minor tweaks will get it back to 100%. Your Republican buddies wont tell you that because of course no Gov. program is ever successful.

There is no longer a ss fund...it was borrowed and never repaid...the money comes in monthly from tax payers like me, and spent immediately.

College should be saved for and paid as you go...I started each of my three children a college fund the day they got a SS #, which is required to open a fund or account in their name with me as guardian to their accounts...
