high metabolism or something more sinister???
i am a male in his 20s weighing roughly 112 pounds at 5'5" height. yes i know i am small and skinny. the problem is that i eat upwards of 2250 calories per day. sometimes 3000, sometimes even more than that. yet i do not EVER gain weight. i live quite a sedentary lifestyle. most of my job is in front of a computer, so too much exercise isnt the problem. could this simply be down to a fast metabolism or have i got something inside me stealing my food!? i really hope this isnt the case because i have a serious phobia of parasites. i have no symptoms really apart from mild fatigue and sometimes i am a bit anemic, but that could be down to poor diet. thoughts????

Obviously you grow none of what you eat.

Just the way it is....While not quite as drastic, I had significant issue gaining weight all the way through my 20's. Metabolism slowed down finally by about 35. I now weigh about 210, and remain in pretty good shape - but have to work at it to keep the excess weight off.
Within the surreal depths of "reality" lies the truth.
