Talk about a strawman. No one wants to "eat the rich." What would help is if the rich paid their fair share of the load. And if there are cuts in the budget (which Mr. Robbins didn't take the time to illuminate specific examples...just some vague concept of "cuts.")

If a household gets in financial trouble, they don't normally let their children starve...or kill them...to ease the financial burden. Yes, that would help out with the finances but is not exactly the desired goal.

Neither would they voluntarily quit their job. They would do what they had to do to keep the job. They may have to cut back on the number of vehicles to get to work. They may have to carpool.

Robbins standing up there like the giant buffoon that he is crying for the disabused rich is laughable at best and sickening at worst. Understand NO ONE BEGRUDGES THE WEALTHY THEIR WEALTH. However, unwarranted and unnecessary tax breaks and cozy deals for the rich is a TAX on the rest of us.

The USA will not get out of financial debt until we take a long range, REASONABLE, plan of spending reduction and tax reform.

Republicans and conservatives on this board and salivate over the "great points" Robbins make...but it is fluff.
