People are messed up. I live in a town near the border of Wisconsin/ Illinois. Three weeks and 2 days ago, a friend coming to my home saw a dog thrown from a vehicle. A tiny, miniature Chihuahua.

I live on a pretty busy street and the dog was running down the road- freaking out. None of the cars where stopping for it. I ran for a couple blocks before I could catch her, and, I had to get on my hands and knees to get her to come to me.

When I picked her up, I could tell that she was very abused. AFter a visit to the humane society and the vet, it has been confirmed that this poor dog is completely deaf (unknown reason), blind in one eye, has some major burn on her skin that won't allow fur to grow, and, has had her teeth knocked out. She also had worms, fleas, and I could feel every tiny bone in her body. Her tiny hip bones stuck up in the air.

They summize that she had been used for breeding, and, when she could no longer do so, was thrown out. The humane society suggested putting her down, as people don't want an old, blind, deaf, toothless dog.

We aren't going to let that happen. She is gaining weight and starting to trust people, but, hates men. She has been dewormed, flea bathed, had her nails clipped (which were curling from never being clipped) and is on a special diet.

I can't understand what kind of a moron would do this to a tiny dog. She is such a sweet and TINY (3 lb) baby.
