ANY ONE ELSE HATE GMAIL???

I hate it too. They make it almost impossible to figure out how to log out of your account or send an email. If you sign in on the Google home page, there is no choice on the drop down menu to enter your account, you have to go to a completely different section and click on Gmail and your account pops open, completely counter-intuitive.

To think that the Google geniuses came up with such a lame product is literally beyond belief. They should be thoroughly ashamed. And a bunch of their designers should be fired.

It can be if you use their page but pretty good if you use a mail program in IMAP mode I believe it is.

I've used it since it was in beta many years ago. I agree that it's not perfect but as far a free web mail goes it beats the competition hands down.

If you want to send an email simply click the big "compose" button, add an address, type a message and then hit send. Then when you want to log out just click on your username at the top right and then click "sign out" on the drop down that appears.

Yahoo at least lets you organize your mail. I dont use gmail for anything and don't have an active google account.

I hate it too... just to add my opinion to the list. Going back and reading conversations maked me friggin lose it. Why can't there be one general format among all email providers? Hell, add bells and whistles all ya want, but the format -- how can you get excited about Gmail's?

It's like going to a Walmart that has everything laid out different than the one you're accustomed to.

it's not hard to figure out...and I don't know any other free email service that gives you that much space.....when I first got gmail, it was invitation only. I was a kid, and signed up for a lot of dumb shit, so I got put on a lot of mailing lists. A couple of years later I decided to mass clean out my inbox which barely had a dent in its capacity....I had never deleted a single email until that day, and on that day, I deleted over 20,000 emails.


If you don't like to configuration or layout download a client based program like Thunderbird or Outlook to import your mail to your PC. I use Thunderbird myself since I now have 3 primary emails.

theres nothing wrong with gmail unless you dont want them reading everything you type...very simple to use and understand anyone who thinks otherwise probably has trouble tieing thier shoes..

even worse is LYCOS mail. Right now Yahoo is the best of a lousy bunch, not saying much. Yahoo just sucks the least.

Most of googles services are WORSE then when they originally started out.

It went from computer geeks who knew what they were doing, to corporate bullshit.

Youtube has become a disaster and I find myself looking for alternatives because that interface fucking blows. They did that shit on purpose.
