I was having a hard time posting her due to "lyrics", but this is me, and have been a long time Rush fan,,,even to the point of fanatical. I have not missed a Rush tour since 1984 (Grace Under Pressure). They are the ultimate musicians to me, and presserve everything sacred that music should be. However, I have seen a lot of occult symbolism in their artwork (Hugh Syme) and in some of their lyrics (Pye Dubois). I do notice ancient Egyptian sybolism in modern art, TV, movies, etc, that I would have glossed over in the past. The "sun" is a huge symbol in the Egyptian occult worship,,,and it does appear very often in Rush's artwork, videos, etc. I AM IN NO WAY SAYING THAT MY HERO'S ARE PART OF THE ILLLUMINATI, though. Please understand that,,,they are my hero's. And always will be. I do think that a big portion of a products (yes, even a band's product) is left to those that will "market" the band to the masses. I do know Rush takes a very active role in all of their marketing, though.

Since learning about the "underbelly" of our exhistence...I have become aware of these images that most people never notice. I do take active notice now in movies, TV, songs, video's, etc. To those that say it's nothing but paranoia,,,,you can't look the other way when SO MUCH of these images are being put into our media. I mean, why is SO MUCH Egyptian symbology being shown in movies, TV, videos,,,,,and also by our entertainers? Where did they learn this. If I became famous tonight, I would not know these hand signals, or their meanings? Would you? Assuming you were never taught them, and most of us "peasants" never were of course.

At the minimum,,,,take notice of how many Egyptian symbols you see in any Hollywood movie, and/or TV show. You will be shocked. Is it nothing? Is it just coincedance? Am I paranoid? I'm not so sure it's simply being paranoid when I see these images of a some type of pyramid in a movie or TV show,,,,WHEN IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THE DIRECTOR IS CENTERING THAT IMAGE IN THE CAMERA ANGLE! This takes it out of coincedance. NOTHING in a movie is there by mistake (TV, too). Every shot, and every angle is discussed before it makes the final cut.

I think it's interesting that Alex has one eye covered in the Vapor Trails album art as well as on his Victor solo album. The intro on S&A in Holland disc 2 is weird. I'd say Rush is at the very minimum working numerology (release dates, etc) to their favor and is most likely more involved with occult/illuminati/esoteric type of stuff than we'd care to admit.

If you know anything about Rush, you know Gedddy doesn't write lyrics, the good ones like that atleast. That is all Neil Peart territory. In fact the first paragraph on wiki labels neil as drummer and lyricist.

It's funny I know that when I'm not even a huge Rush fan, nor do I know what song you're referring to above.

So you'd rather everyone just conform then, is what you're saying.

You completely misinterpret the message guys like this try to convey. They simply tell people to do what they believe they should do, and not do something just to "go with the flow" or be accepted. None of them ever imply selfishness (unless you're negative enough to see it that way). A lot of them actually preach unity and equality too, but it's usually an idealistic idea of everyone being happy, at peace, etc.

The way our world is right now, conforming will not lead to peace and happiness. I can tell you about 10 different people I know that completely ruined their lives before graduating high school, because they hung around the popular crowd too much, and thats just off the top of my head.

Also, how is a man telling everyone to think for themselves worse than some dumbass rapper saying "MONEY BITCH! MONEY BITCH! ALL THE HOES ON ME CUZ I GOT MONEY BITCH!"??????????

I've been a huge rush fan since i was about 13, now 48, but I agree their last couple albums and tours are splattered with illuminati symbolism. Spinning cubes and dragons, magical symbols everywhere... alex even has a bunch of dinosaurs around his rig... whats up with that? Not to mention the (fallen) angels theme and the serpents.
