I agree with the cashier.
The so called "greatest generation" were in actuality just brainwashed consumers who lacked critical thinking skills and concern for anything but themselves.

They were the ones who paved the way for the pollution, the tainted vaccines, the shitty public education, the federal tyranny, etc.

Now we, my generation, is stuck having to fix a whole multitude of problems created by the gullibility, stupidity, and ignorance of the prior two or three generations.

At least now we care enough to want to do something to help our planet, even if it makes only a small difference.
