Harmonics / Silent Slip have been shown to be precursors for major events that follow.

From this link: [link to pnsn.org]

The Author, who is pretty sharp in the game states this:
Watch for slow slip episodes transferring stress to locked patches

Even more compelling is the observation that the Japanese M9 earthquake was preceded by an M7 foreshock two days earlier, and ANOTHER M7's worth of slow slip, both near where the M9 started. The slow slip doesn't mean the M9 could have been predicted, but it would have set the Japanese on alert at the time of the M9, if they had spotted it.

as well as:

Not every major earthquake has shown a pattern consistent with being preceded by slow slip, but the Turkish Izmit earthquake of 1999 is another example. 20,000 people perished in this M7.6 event that struck without warning, but several hours of tiny earthquakes and perhaps tremor were later found to have preceded it.

Which leads me to present you with this: [link to www.earthquakescanada.nrcan.gc.ca]

To be more specific: [link to www.earthquakescanada.nrcan.gc.ca]

Which states: The earthquake triggered a large submarine slump (an estimated volume of 200 cubic kilometres of material was moved on the Laurentian slope) which ruptured 12 transatlantic cables in multiple places (locations of cable breaks can be seen as small red triangles on the isoseismal map) and generated a tsunami (a large induced sea wave). The tsunami was recorded along the eastern seaboard as far south as South Carolina and across the Atlantic Ocean in Portugal.

In my Opinion: Be prepared, rather than a sheep

Update: St Johns on the coast of New Foundland is holding steady harmonics for the last 4 hours, minor larger quakes reported after the northern mid atlantic ridge quakes occurred.

Edgar Cayce predicts the Great Lakes will empty into a channel connecting them with the Gulf of Mexico to form an inland sea dividing east and west USA along Miss River. How could this happen? Not enough water there- BUT if the Hudson Bay were to spill down and overflow the Lakes? That would do it alright. 4.8 quake on the southern tip of Hudson Bay in last 48 hours (covered up as a 3.9 later). All those sounds indicating a growing fissure north of the Lakes as if splitting apart could be in process?

Actually, you would not need Hudson Bay to help the great lakes drain, all you would need is enough glacial rebound to lift the area seismically and then you'd create a new water channel.

The region only has two drains, either the St. Lawrence or the Mississippi has to accommodate the new water channel from the uplift. Where and how the uplift would tilt the region would be a wild guess. We do know however that Glacial Rebound is a known issue.
