The scriptures were originally issued in Hebrew & Greek. Translating them changes them. Yes, the translations make the texts available to us English-speakers, but they have to be taken with a grain of salt, because they're largely drenched in the subjective doctrinal bias of those doing the translating. And the inclusion of Latin in the mix jacked it all up even further.

Ultimately, God's word is a Person.
