Well MSNBC doesn't have to worry about its number falling because the four brain dead people that watch that garbage don't know how to change the channel.

Awhile ago....maybe 6-8 months was when I really started noticing the one-sided story telling with the media. When I really woke up and realized we were being hand fed a bunch of garbage. I know....late bloomer..

But I remember sitting one morning having my coffee, and I had CNN on trying to see if their 'breaking' news was matching up with the real 'net' news.

I waited.....and waited....and waited....(more coffee).

They had released some of the radiation levels that morning and those reports were now available to view, and I wanted to see how much, (if any) and how accurately CNN would report it.

I remember hearing about Chastity Bono. I think she had just had her surgery. Or maybe was soon to be going in.....can't recall exactly. Reporter had talked about this no less than 3 times...in great detail....over a period of 90 mins.

There had also been a story about some multi billion dollar Russian tycoon that had bought his 20- something year old daughter a 22 million dollar apartment in Manhattan. Highest paid for a single unit ever. They were talking about that as if it was friggin HUGE news cuz he'd paid cash.

And for 90+minutes, these were the type of stories I heard repeated over and over and over.

Know what I didin't hear?

They never even mentioned Fukushima and the radiation levels......not even once.

And that's the last time I've watched CNN

Remember when you could actually watch news on CNN instead of talk shows?

Remember when the weather channel used to show current local weather instead of storm chasing reality shows?

We have no more Broadcasting anymore, these days all we get is Narrowcasting. Networks aiming for a certain demographic have to spin everything in order to please said demographic. Because if they don't, we'll just change the channel to the one saying what we want to hear...

Fox = Republicans; All rebublican, all the time!

MSNBC = Democrats; All democrat, all the time!

CNN = Celebrities; Celebrities and their impact on politics!

HLN = Jerry Springer presents the news!

CNN was late to the party, by the time they realized the other two were going to actually 'get away with it' it was to late, the others had already locked up those two core demographics, leaving poor ol CNN struggling to find anything to compete, alas they went the tabloid path and ratings are reflecting that now.
