this is as cliche as can be
but I often happen to think of random people who i haven't even seen in a long time and then happen to meet them that same day , or hear from them in some way or the other

its actually heartwarming , usually :p

I enjoyed reading yours.
And I'm sorry too.

I'm sorry that happened. And that I mispresented myself

well thank you very much for accepting my apology
its appreciated

And you know, I was only saying, I wish I had some sort of warning that I could be aware of to see when one of my friends or family members was in danger
I don't
But I very much empathise with how that must have made you feel.
I guess we all need to go through the dark part of the road ahead.
I have flaws, I was just as surprised as you when I found out!

Too often I will see or know that a friend will soon depart. The last time I was stateside I wanted to catch up with one friend as I felt a need to tell him to have his heart checked out. The guy was in great shape and all but I felt compelled to do it. I walked down to his house and just as I was getting near he drove past and headed away. I didn’t get to talk to him. He had chest pains at work and did go to the hospital; they couldn’t find anything wrong and sent him home, he died that night. At his funeral one of the gang came up to me and asked me who’s next? I didn’t even want to think about it but I knew it would be our friend Rick. Another guy who was in great shape and no one thought would soon depart. He died four months later on his way home from cross-country skiing, another heart attack.

I had one very intense lucid dream in Early May 1991, in the dream I saw a major volcanic eruption in a tropical region where the ash blacken the whole sky, it was falling heavy, and was thick on the ground. In the dream I met people running looking for shelter and I helped several Asian people find shelter. A few weeks later Mount Pinatubo had a massive eruption in the Philippines.

I had several dreams of an earthquake and Tsunami before the 9/12/2009 event here.

I also have trouble sleeping 1-2 nights before a major EQ event occurs.

wow - that is pretty impressive. I can see why you moved to American Samoa. Obviously you don't have any premonitions about massive tsunamis hitting the islands.

I'm not sure it's a gift, but it IS something. Earliest experience I had was in nursery school so I must have been about 3-4 years old.

I dreamed out the entire day at school one night. I remember going to school and knowing exactly what was going to be said, done, seen next and the whole time I remember watching for clues that it was still playing out like it should (according to my dream) but the oddest part was that I simply didn't question this at all until I was much older.

I still have moments that I know things, but they are not as frequent. My immediate family has gotten used to it but others...not so much.

I can relate. I don't sleep well either. Does suck knowing what will happen next. The only thing that gives me releif is there is a reason I see this and others don't. I hope what I pass out gives people forshadow, and hopefully can figure out the vague clues I give to avoid what is about to happen.

Empathy usually makes me doubt it.

The world will suck soon, but as long as people like you and me understand why, we might be able to make it work. Understand?

Pray on it. There have been times I thought God had given me a sign something was going to happen. But after praying about it, I realized it wasn't of God at all. Again, the best thing you can do is pray about it. You will get your answer. :)

Thanks for that. It is what I have been wondering. If my past is sneaking back in to give bad info. This is why I stopped answering. I used to reply to people and get that warm fuzzy feeling, and now I don't. I do have to say you are stearing me the right way, and I greatly appreciate it.

Re: Premonitions of future events, lessons to be learned.
I have em all the time.

Once i had a dream my girl was sleeping with my best friend...3 days later it happened.

another time I saw a woman in a dream ....all she said was "5 days"....
6 days later i saw the paper.....the day before a woman was shot and killed. The pic was the woman in my dream.

I was going through a divorce.....i was at the gym.
I heard a voice say "go stand by the road"
I ignored it. It said it again, I ignored it again.
Then it said it a third time much more insistanly.
So i went by the road, and not 10 seconds after i got there, my ex wife drove by with another man in her car.

I can sometimes see it before it happens, but it seems I'm better at seeing it after the fact.
 Quoting: Borian

Same thing with me. I've had precog dreams since I was 11 year old. I can always tell when a dream is trying to tell me something, but it's almost like a riddle that I can only solve after the fact. Most of the time anyway. There are exceptions.

The last precog dream I had was very specifically trying to tell me something about September 25th. I haven't figured it out yet and I honestly don't know if I want to. The person in my dream was screaming the date at me and the only other thing they would say was, 'he used to be called disease.'

I also have premonitory dreams. The most vivid I ever had saved me from potentially being raped/attacked.

Years ago I was flatting with a friend. She had gone away for the weekend so I was home alone. We lived in a home backing onto some bushland.

That night I went to bed and had a very intense dream. In the dream I was lying in my bed but I could see outside and there was a figure standing behind the trees in silhouette with a glowing butt of a cigarette. The person had a sinister feel about them.

I woke from the dream and later that day rang my boyfriend and asked him to stay with me at the house that night as I was a bit scared.

That night while we were watching TV a guy in a balaclava with a knife came through the window backing onto the bushland. My boyfriend was quite a large guy so the intruder ran off.

I have never been so glad that I followed my intuition and I really feel I was given that dream to protect me!

My 15 year old daughter had a dream last night. For starters, she is not religious. She doesn't know much about the bible. I have tried to get her more interested in learning more about the bible but she just doesn't listen.

Anyhow, last night she had a dream that scared her. She dreamed about bugs coming out of the sky, biting people but the people were not dying. They were screaming in pain and had huge bumps on their bodies from the bites. She said the bugs were about to bite her so she fell to her knees and started praying. That was when she woke up.

I know this is one of the things mentioned in Rev. I have always been told these were just symbols used and were not really going to happen. I just wanted to find out what anyone thought about this dream and it's possible meaning, if any. :) thanks

The bugs in my dream were medium sized, but I did not see them up close so I can not really describe them, but in my dream, the sky starts to get really dark and then these bug- like creatures appear and start to sting people. But the people stung would get these whelps like a bee sting just a lot bigger. what I remember then is I ran into this house after the attack began and I felt that even being inside the house would/could not stop those creatures and then the last thing I remember was getting on my knees and praying, asking to be forgiven of all sins that I have committed and then I woke up.I am sorry. That is all I remember. I did not really get a close up view of those "bugs" and cannot really describe what they look like.

I was a bit concerned because she has never been so upset over a dream before. She got up this morning and was shaken. She came to me saying it seemed so real. Like it was actually happening. I asked her to tell me what her dream was and as she was telling me, the first thing that came to mind was Rev. lol I know it is silly. But that is the first thing that came to mind. I didn't say anything to her about it. I just told her we all have silly dreams.

Re: Premonitions of future events, lessons to be learned.

lol, my grandmother used to drag me to all sorts of psychics, palmreaders, crystal ball gazers, tarot card readers, "psychics" in the traditional sense, aura readings (ffs, that one was the worst of them all ... and should be locked up and medicated ...) ... and none of them have made a lasting impression other than : sheer and utter bs , boredem and lol. If anything, I could predict their own future just by looking at them : some of you are going to end up legally insane, others would end up very lonely and the rarest of them all would make some money from it all and then resign out of guilt.

If you ever tire of the palmreaders, Give me a shot at it. I ulually hit, but don't know why.

Re: Premonitions of future events, lessons to be learned.
In 1996 I had a very vivid dream that I will never forget. I won't go into the details of the dream, but what I saw was a huge earthquake in the north pole region causing huge amounts of water to fill up Lake Michigan, causing it to get larger and larger. In my dream, it was predicted that it would begin to spill down into Illinois, inundating large portions of the state.

I don't know if such a thing is possible, but the dream felt so real that it has haunted me all these years.
