The reason it is taking so long is two things in my OPINION.
1)Hide strength
2) Staying close enough for when the moment comes we don't have to redeploy our assets as far if at any. But like I said that is my OPINION.

Um, the F 22 has not flown in Iraq...

I said this earlier, the F22 has yet to see any combat. The theaters the US is involved in right now do not require this specialized fighter, Iran is another story with it's more sophisticated anti air systems, F22 was built for this.

Must have missed the post you made earlier. I'm really not sure what to think about everything that has been happening the past week.. Iran starts nuclear power, we send over jets, Israel calls up troops, prez basically says that we are done in Afganistan...... crazy crazy.. What's more crazy is not very many people I have come across really have a clue or just don't care.

If it comes to a war.... 3/4 of Irans air power will be obliterated before it even gets into the air....just like Desert Storm / Gulf War and Iraq.

They have little to worry about since the raptor is a worthless airplane, most AF pilots are refusing to fly them because they are death traps..Read sometimes then you wont come across like such an ill informed dunce

it's a bs story burt, the problem has been fixed. Whoever is talking to the press doesn't know what they are talking about or is just a bad source to begin with. The F22 is the most sophisticated aircraft every conceived...hell it's a shock it can't do spaceflight.

yeah saw it, don't know if it's feesible though, would put alot of stress on thrust vectoring systems, could sharply increase the rate of any potential mechanical failure due it it. Unless they can make the thrust vectoring more efficient I don't see how they can pull it off.
