A complete galactic year is 25,620 years in length, i.e., a Tropical Great Year.

At the end of each great tropical 'day' is a mass extinction event due to the arrival of the Great Destroyer.
Cycle 1 (the last day) ended at 1648 B.C., 3660 years ago. Reports from history of the mass extinction event include:
c. 1655 BC—Tan-Uli, the ruler of the Elamite Empire, dies.
c. 1650 BC—Greeks start to live in Mycenae.
c. 1650 BC—Middle Kingdom ends in Ancient Egypt (other date is 1674 BC).
c. 1650 BC—Second Intermediate Period starts in Ancient Egypt (other date is 1674 BC).
c. 1650 BC – "Flotilla" fresco, from Room 5 of West House, Akrotiri (Santorini), Thera, is made. Second Palace period. It is now kept in National Archaeological Museum, Athens.
Egypt—Start of Seventeenth Dynasty.
c. 1650 BC—Between Rapperswil and Hurden, on the so-called Seedamm, a first wooden bridge was constructed on Lake Zürich in Switzerland
c. 1650 BC—The last Woolly mammoths become extinct on Wrangel Isla
c. 1650 BC: Egypt: Start of the Seventeenth Dynasty.
1649 BC: Bazaia became the King of Assyria.
c. 1674 BC: Egypt: Start of Fifteenth Dynasty.
1633 BC : Egypt: End of the Thirteenth Dynasty.
1627 BC: Beginning of a cooling of world climate lasting several years recorded in tree-rings all over the world. It might have been caused by the Minoan eruption of Thera or the Avellino eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
Thera and Mt. Vesuvius eruptions...
Hittite dates back to c. 1650 BC. Now an extinct language, it was once spoken by the Hittites people in north-central Anatolia. he language declined after the collapse of the Hittite empire.
Wooly Mammoths: A small population survived on St. Paul Island, Alaska, up until 3,750 BC, and the small mammoths of Wrangel Island survived until 1,650 BC.
2 Cycles ago:
7,500 years ago (5500 BC): Copper smelting in evidence in Pločnik and other locations.
7,000 years ago (5000 BC): late Neolithic civilizations, invention of the wheel and spread of proto-writing.
6,000 years ago (4000 BC): Civilizations develop in the Mesopotamia/Fertile crescent region (around the location of modern day Iraq). The american mastodon goes extinct.
3 Cycles ago:
10,000 years ago (8000 BC): The Quaternary extinction event, which has been ongoing since the mid-Pliestocene, concludes. Many of the ice age megafauna go extinct, including the megatherium, woolly rhinoceros, Irish elk, cave bear, cave lion, and the last of the sabre-toothed cats. The mammoth goes extinct in Eurasia and North America, but is preserved in small island populations until ~1650 BC.
3.5 Cycles ago:
12,000 years ago (10,000 BC): Land ice leaves Denmark and southern Sweden; start of the current Holocene epoch.
4 Cycles ago:
15,000 years ago: The woolly rhinoceros goes extinct.
c. 14,800 years ago: The Humid Period begins in North Africa. The region that would later become the Sahara is wet and fertile, and the Aquifers are full.
7 Cycles ago:
25,000 years ago: first colonisation of North America. A hamlet consisting of huts built of rocks and of mammoth bones is founded in what is now Dolni Vestonice in Moravia in the Czech Republic. This is the oldest human permanent settlement that has yet been found by archaeologists.
8 Cycles ago:
29,000 years ago: extinction of Homo neanderthalensis.
c. 28,500 years ago: New Guinea is populated by colonists from Asia or Australia.
c. 28,000-20,000 years ago: Gravettian period in Europe. Harpoons, needles, and saws invented.
10 cycles ago:
35 000 years ago: oldest known figurative art (Venus of Hohle Fels), age of the Aurignacian culture
Obviously, humanity has been nearly wiped out a number of times.
Approximately 25-40 cycles ago:
200,000 years ago: appearance of Homo sapiens in Africa
150,000 years ago: time of mitochondrial Eve
125,000 years ago: peak of the Eemian Stage interglacial
100,000 years ago: earliest estimate for the domestication of dogs
Given that humans are all over the planet; given this expansion to global civilization has only required some 3000 years...
What prevented humans from getting to our level of globalized civilization before now? NOTHING. Did it happen before? OF COURSE IT DID. Why is there no history of it? THERE IS. What became of these global civilizations? THEY WERE WIPED OUT. How were they wiped out? PERIODIC 3660 YEAR EXTINCTION. Why?
Whatever it is that kills most of us on a regular 3660 year cycle and resets the clock also causes massive earth changes -- volcanoes, ice ages, giant melts, massive earthquakes... all over the planet at once. Whatever it is, it kills almost all the animal species, almost all the humans, and ablates most of the historical record and artifacts of the civilization-now-gone-missing.
Our next due date for global extinction is 2012.
This year; this period of time.
Massive earth changes, weather changes, ice changes, population changes, species die-offs... earthquakes, fires, famines, floods....
It is now happening and will intensify until the invading planetary cause abates...
What is the causal agent?
Incoming massive gravitational body...

You are very close to understanding completely.
The cycle that you must research lasts 5,200 years. At the end of that cycle there is 3 days of darkness.
