(frown) Yes, but sometimes it gets harder for people to stay fit if they suffer say a knee injury, or a back injury. Very easy to put on weight & very hard to take it off. He is about a 31 now, but he got up to a 36 when he quit smoking years ago. He is just lucky, he burns things fast & can eat whatever he want. He is even having a hard time maintaining now, since his knees are shot, his lower back, wrist injury etc... gets rough as you get older. |

I stayed 98 pounds at 5'4" up until I was 32 yrs old. Broke both wrists, fractured tailbone & one leg and shattered the other foot at 33 yrs old, so now due to lack of exercise I consider myself fat. I read somewhere that with age and dwindling metabolism the normal person as they age can naturally gain 5 pounds each year. Even figuring that in at my age, I am still overweight. :( I loved being a twig, was never sick, could go days without eating, loved hiking. In a a way I have to agree with OP. Fat is gross. |
