Feelings of hopelessness
Anyone else experiencing this?
Got all the classic symptoms of depression but not sure it is actually depression, it's more like a wtf feeling. Normally I am an upbeat, positive person but the last week or so I have just been wondering why we even try? We work our asses off for what? Do we ever truly own anything and stop owing someone else? We seem to constantly be at the mercy of someone else and no matter what we do or how hard we work someone still has their hand out saying, "GIVE ME!" or people are taking advantage of others because they can.

Re: Feelings of hopelessness
Wasn't signed in, sorry.

I can't say it is Obama's fault, at least not his alone. The rest of our wonderful government is as much to blame as the president is for our predicament. And it's not just about finances, it is just everything, the entire world seems to be so completely oblivious to right and wrong.

The best I felt all week was this morning when I noticed there was a man in my back yard with one of those big industrial sized lawn mowers mowing my grass when nobody had hired him to. My next door neighbor always hires yard maintenance in the summer as he is a long haul trucker. I went out and told the man he was at the wrong place, it is my neighbor who uses their service. The man told me that his supervisor was the one who told him to do my yard but he would double check to make sure. Turns out it was the yard 3 houses away that he was supposed to be mowing. I could have not said anything, let him mow my grass, but I figured that would be pretty shitty of me to take advantage of them like that. How many people would have waited until the man was done before saying anything, or just not say anything at all? Far too many I am afraid.

That good feeling only lasted a few hours and I was back to that hopeless feeling again. Maybe it's just the rain and being stuck inside, unable to go out and work in my own yard. I have a greenhouse full of vegetable starts that are needing to be planted but the rain has been relentless and the ground is so wet there is nothing I can do to prepare the garden.

I agree that Republicans and Bush suck. However, Obama has taken Bush's fuck-ups and made them 10 times worse. You can't see that because you're brainwashed by the media.

BTW, you have a lot of nerve calling someone uneducated when it's evident by your remedial grammar that you probably never graduated high school, let alone attended an institution of higher learning.
