North Sulawesi’s Mount Lokon enters second day of eruption

December 8, 2012 – INDONESIA – Mount Lokon, near the North Sulawesi town of Tomohon, entered its second day of eruption on Friday, belching heaps of ash and smoke into the atmosphere. “People are asked to remain alert and not conduct any activities within a 2.5 kilometer radius around the Tompuluan crater of Mount Lokon,” said Farid Bima, who heads the volcano monitoring outpost near the mountain. The 1,579-meter-high volcano first erupted at around 5:18 p.m. on Thursday, sending a column of ash and smoke that reached some 3,500 meters high. The ash fell mostly on the southeastern slope of the volcano. Farid said that so far there had been no report of casualties or damages, and reiterated that the alert status of the mountain was still at “ready,” or two rungs above normal and one below full eruption. Mount Lokon has demonstrated rising volcanic activities since mid-year, he added, and has been undergoing a series of small and large eruptions. Tomohon Mayor Jemmy Eman announced on Friday a 2.5 kilometer-radius danger-zone and also prepared areas to shelter people if any evacuations needed to take place. However, he said there was no need for people on the upper slopes of the mountain to be evacuated, since the eruptions so far were not deemed major threats. “Therefore, there will not be any evacuations yet,” said Arnold Poli, the city secretary. An eruption of Mount Lokon last month prompted the evacuation of some 5,000 people from its upper slopes. Hoyke Makarawung, the head of the North Sulawesi Disaster Mitigation Agency, said that his institution had already readied assistance should any evacuation take place in the areas affected by the discharge. “We are continuously monitoring the condition of the volcano,” he said. –Jakarta Globe

The region I'm most worried about right now is Japan ! They've had that M7.3 a few days ago and a lot of M5s since then...I really hope those are not fore-shocks to something bigger !

Those poor people have had enough suffering and if Fukushima sinks, the whole northern hemisphere could be at risk !

Three people have been killed after severe weather – including a series of tornadoes – hit Auckland this afternoon.

Police sources have confirmed that three have died in the west Auckland storm, which struck shortly after noon.

Fire services communications manager Peter Stevenson said two people had been killed when a slab of concrete fell onto a truck.

Andy Gummer of St John said at least seven people had been transported to Auckland and North Shore hospitals.

I’ve been seeing a lot of chemtrail activity over the western suburbs of Brisbane over the last few weeks and I’m wondering if anyone else has been noticing this?
These images are what I saw in my backyard yesterday (4/12/2012). Three large interlocking/concentric circular chemtrails positioned on the outskirts of Brisbane where the westerly wind would carry them directly over Brisbane over night. Great!
I also saw the usual ‘straight’ chemtrails over Brisbane at the University of Queensland last Wednesday. The next day I had a sore throat and have had a flu for the last week. I don’t now if there is a connection but I do know that the level of activity I have seen over the last few weeks and especially last night is ramping up to a new level and we deserve an explanation…

Reports Of Dogs Dying On NZ Coast As A Result of Algae Bloom – Geo-engineering to Blame?

I have received reports of dogs dying of algae bloom in both Nelson and Southland. This coincides with early reports of similar deaths over the last year as far north as Northland.
If you do research, smilar mass deaths have occurred both in NZ penguin colonies, mass fish deaths, snares, island sub Antarctica (with at less one human casualty), seals in Kaikoura, since late eighties which is when I believe research in to geo engineering began in earnest in NZ ( I also believe if you dig deep enough into archives using OIA’s and ficus on the MOT and CAA you will find “research permits were granted for exactly this purpose*). They also emerge in Southland in eel population in same area where fracking has previously taken place.

These deaths are all marked by unusually aggressive pathogens or bacteria emerging in such algae or unusual mutations in previously benign organisms.

It is my belief, based on what critics of geo- engineering (see also the MV Polar Stern ferrous dumping in Antarctic oceans) have subscribed to, is that such deaths are caused by used of nano-engineered heavy metals that deprive oxygen to small microbes which in turn die and then release domoic acids into the food change that is causing such fatalities. Deaths are usually highest among st species that have the first point of contact with the contaminants but then work their way into food change where the killing goes on but in much subtle and less obvious manner (e.g. as cancer causing or neurological disorders).

Building and construction minister Maurice Williamson has laid blame on Christchurch city council for the sign-off of the ill-fated CTV building.

"The Crown’s not a player in any of this. The whole of the consenting, the inspections and the sign off take place at local authority level," he says..

"Christchurch city council did the consenting and signed off on that building."

Christchurch mayor Bob Parker has acknowledged the council has responsibility for issuing consents, but says the CTV building was approved almost three decades ago.

“It is difficult to ascribe a liability today to an organisation which is vastly different to the one which issued a consent effectively three decades ago.

“It was a different council back then. A different sized council – everything has changed since then – different staff, different processes, different systems,” he told NBR ONLINE.

Mr Williamson says he has passed today’s final report from the Canterbury earthquakes royal commission to the police and the Institute of Professional Engineers (IPENZ).

He has asked his officials to investigate what possible legal avenues are open to the government to hold people to account.

It is up to IPENZ to determine the future of any industry registrations as a result of the report’s findings.

Mr Parker says while Christchurch is still mourning the loss of the 185 people who died, it is a miracle more people were not killed.

“And that’s probably says a lot about the more recent buildings and the standards we’ve applied.”

The report contains 83 recommendations and concentrates on the collapse of the CTV building.

It says the engineering design of the CTV building was deficient in a number of respects.

While there were elements of the applicable code that were confusing, a building permit should not have been issued for the building as designed.

It also says there were a number of inadequacies in its construction.

Industry was different

Mr Parker says the building industry was different in 1986, when the CTV building was built.

“Now our engineering systems, engineering standards, our understandings are vastly different, our processes in council are vastly different.

"In our case, we’ve been honed by a further two years' direct exposure to seismic violence of an unprecedented level in New Zealand.”

He expects to see changes to the Resource Management Act and building processes, checks and balances as a result of the royal commission’s report.

He is confident Christchurch city and other metropolitan councils already have the processes and systems in place to ensure the buildings which are being constructed meet the engineering standards of today.

Overall, the report found New Zealand was very well served by those who participated in the building safety evaluation operations in Canterbury, but it does not mean the government should not consider making improvements to the system.

Mr Williamson is waiting on a report into other buildings nationwide which were built around the same time as CTV.

He says there is a list of 379 buildings that have been identified.

Those on the list have similar construction materials and techniques to the CTV building. They include unreinforced masonry, an asymmetric shear wall and non-ductile columns.

And until the report, which was due out this month, is released early next year, he will not be revealing the identified buildings.

“Those buildings are no less safe than they were on February 21. Just because they’ve got non-ductile concrete does not make them a risk. If they are found to be at risk, obviously action would be taken.

“You could red sticker the building and issue a not-to-occupy notice if that was the case.”

He says it was a difficult process to identify the buildings because local authority databases are “very poor”.

One thing's for sure Tauranga, more and more volcanoes are awakening all over the world !

I've said this many times, we don't need a supervolcano eruption to throw us into an ice age...enough smaller volcanoes going off at the same time will eventually have the same effect !
