The tremor is continuing to climb on White Island again today...looking promising for an eruptive episode.
Also interesting to note....
The two seismic drums in the picture below are located on our Volcanoes Tongariro and Ngauruhoe( which is a vent of Tongariro ). When volcanic activity is happening on Tongariro, Ngauruhoe( Oturere ) drum wil also pick it up. But as you can see by the difference in the earthquake readings from Tongariro the scale is set much higher on Tongariro so its readings look smaller.
They do not however pick up each others weather readings at all. So when its showing windy on Ngauruhoe the Tongariro drum will still look quiet and vice versa.
However, it is quite clear when looking at the two drum illustrations taken from today...there is a tremor of some description showing on both drums.....

( i have outlined the areas to compare )...it is definitely not weather related and would be much more interesting to look at if they would reduce the scale on the Tongariro drum to the
same as Ngauruhoe....but it is definitely there and a sign that TOngariro is nowhere near going back to sleep...
