...Now Taupo WOULD be doom for NZ! I must go too...but now a little bit of research to post before i leave... Quakes off East Cape, over 3.0 magnitude, Since 01/01/2012 Unfortunately as there are quakes on top of quakes you dont get the true picture of just how many there has been, but definitely shows how compact the area is that the quakes have struck.. [ link to img35.imageshack.us] Its a shame it cant capture the real quantity as well but theres too many that you can't see because they are one on top of the other. Quoting: taniatarn wow.. could there be any other possible reason for so many quakes in one small area like this, apart from a new volcano forming? Just for you...i have concentrated on researching this area since last night...wow...have some fascinating info....will post later this evening because I am out for rest of day and need to organise it a bit better...but WOW.... :exciting: awesome, thanks heaps, that spot has been worrying me since the crazy swarm there in november 2011 i cant wait to see what you have discovered.. Yep...have managed to some great information on the November swarm.....! Cant wait to show you what i have discovered...
