PLOSKY TOLBACHIK VOLCANO (CAVW #1000-24-)
55.83 N, 160.39 E; Elevation 10119 ft (3085 m)
Aviation Color Code is ORANGE
Strong seismicity of the volcano was registered. A magnitude of volcanic tremor was 6 mcm/s. Explosive-effusive eruption continues: lava flows continues to effusing from the Southern fissure on Tolbachinsky Dol. A gas-steam plume containing small amount of ash rose up to 3 km a.s.l. and extending to the north-east of the volcano. A gigantic thermal anomaly is noting at satellite images in the northern area of Tolbachinsky Dol.
