SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
for LARGE HAILSTONES, HEAVY RAINFALL and DAMAGING WIND
For people in the South West Slopes and parts of the Hunter, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, North West Slopes and Plains, Central West Slopes and Plains and Riverina Forecast Districts.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce large hailstones, heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and damaging winds over the next several hours in parts of the Hunter, Central Tablelands, North West Slopes and Plains and Central West Slopes and Plains districts. Locations which may be affected include Mudgee, Gunnedah and Wellington.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds over the next several hours in the South West Slopes and parts of the Southern Tablelands, Central West Slopes and Plains and Riverina districts. Locations which may be affected include Yass, Wagga Wagga, Albury, Tumbarumba, Griffith and Narrandera.
Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Illawarra, South Coast, Lower Western, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED.
A wind gust of 104 km/h was reported at Temora earlier this evening, as well as wind damage at Leeton.
