Making the U.S. subservient to international law is what Obama means by moving “Forward” and it is what Obama will do when he has “more flexibility.” I will be posting more on this, but for now you need to know about the latest EO.

WhiteHouse.gov has published Obama’s new Executive Order “Promoting International Regulatory Cooperation.” Cooperation is good and promoting it throughout the world sounds good too, but you have to read this thing.

Obama is using this EO to standardize our laws with international law. Remember the Constitution? If we follow international law, it will supercede our laws and our Constitution and not one Senator will ever have to approve it.

The laws we will cooperate with have not been legislated by our Congress. Obama, the Clintons, Harold Koh, et al have clearly promoted international law over our sovereign laws.

Think about the international laws we would have to abide by that would eliminate our right to go to war, bear arms, speak freely; think about the insane “green agenda” of the international community that demands we fork over at least 25% of our profits from oil, as just one example; think about the armed raids on companies like Gibson Guitars for violating foreign laws even though they didn’t or the people who have been arrested for international laws they violated when they didn’t even know they were laws.

How is every international business person supposed to know every international law? Obama thinks this “cooperation” will stir competition? Is he insane. It will do the opposite.

His EO talks about enacting legislation to cooperate with international laws and there is a section about information exchange and regulatory tools. Just what we need, China can’t steal our technology fast enough, now we can give it away. The regulatory part will stifle U.S. trade if the international community has any say.

Obama ties EO 13563 into EO 12866. Remember Obama’s actions are all connected. EO 12866 talks about regulations, endless regulations, within the law, but here’s the rub, he emphasizes RULEMAKING, which requires no legislative action. Look at what is happening with the HHS rule to force religious institutions into a subservient position to the government.

The following is one section that particularly concerns me because, when taken in conjunction with EO 12866, the government can pass “rules” to put us in sync with our foreign trading partners. The second amendment will be on the hit list and it certainly comprises our sovereignty.

Also on the hit list will be free speech and we will be hearing more about limited free speech and copyright infringement with our companies and people facing international tribunals. Make no mistake, this is the next step towards the International Criminal Court treaty or agreement. -

(i) reforms to existing significant regulations that address unnecessary differences in regulatory requirements between the United States and its major trading partners, consistent with section 1 of this order, when stakeholders provide adequate information to the agency establishing that the differences are unnecessary; and

(ii) such reforms in other circumstances as the agency deems appropriate; and

(d) for significant regulations that the agency identifies as having significant international impacts, consider, to the extent feasible, appropriate, and consistent with law, any regulatory approaches by a foreign government that the United States has agreed to consider under a regulatory cooperation council work plan.
