we go off the grid... look into it.. you can source your own energy and get paid by your power company of choice for unde 7 grand on a one off... going solar take yourself off the grid, and for under 5 grand all the water you need, also off the grid...... so 10 grand for a life time, and getting paid for energy?... pretty neat huh?

Going Solar, or Wind and whatever fruit loop source of power is not applicable. And will end if failure. They are only applicable as a niche power source. When it comes to providing BASE LOAD power, say to run Perth, well it's a joke.

Where do you get power from when the sun does not shine, or the wind does not blow?

Thinking of battery backup? Apply this to every house on the planet, and you've now got a new commodity in the making. Where does all the energy come from needed to manufacture the batteries, and even after all that, Solar and wind will still fail.
