Their calendar system has much larger numbers and 'counts' that go well beyond 2012.

Some texts and numeration go all the way up to 4237, in our terms, so really.... all this 2012 BS is about as real as Microsoft's Y2K build up.

The December 21, 2012 date was confirmed by calculating when the Earth will ge in the galactic center of the Milky Way Galaxy - in the dark rift, aligned with the central black hole we are spinning around. It doesn't matter what calendar you use to calculate - the date is what it is. Not hard to figure out.
