yup dropped like 20-30 cents a gallon from 3.79 or 3.80 to 3.54-3.59 here in central Texas.

Theres no doubt in my mind that Obama made a deal with Saudi to flood the market prior to election (starting now). AFTER the election, expect to be paying 2 to 3 times as much.

If they were givin the shit away for free , it would still go up every Thursday in Van Alstyne Texas by about 10 to 15 cents a gallon.

Election is not going to happen.

But you can bet your ass it won't be reflected at the pump anytime soon - if at all.

Commodities traders have found another way to manipulate the market. Prices on the market reflected the current price of oil at any given time. The price was then adjusted up or down at the pump to reflect those prices.

Now, they work on the assumption that prices will fluctuate wildly and reflection at the pump will not be accurate so now they are betting on what the price of a barrel will be 10 days out giving the traders 10 days to drive the price up by whatever means and preventing the price at the pump to fall.

It has dropped from $4.19 at Easter to $4.05 in our area this week. Puget Sound area.

I'm betting that Obama works really hard to keep it dropping ever so slightly between now and the elections, so we'll think he's a really good president (and one we'd like to re-elect).

Oil only dropped below $100 a barrel on Friday.

I don't consider $98 to be cheap and don't expect it to stay that low for long.

Went past the three local stations and found that they had all gone UP 4 to 5 cents. So it's now $4.09 here in Puget Sound area (across the pond from Seattle).

I'm in Dallas, where its more expensive than elsewhere in TX due to taxes, and its 3.59
