Not that it matters or counts for anything, but I thought it was funny so it deserved a mention for at least a good laugh.

Dr. Paul is running as a Republican, and if I remember correctly, he said he would not accept the LP nomination if nominated. Why would they nominate him?

Screw it. I'm voting for Johnson. My vote doesn't matter, anyway, and I can't stand the turd sandwich and giant douche that are running on the major party tickets.

I don't know but at least one of their members stood up at the convention to nominate Ron Paul and when they asked the convention for a verbal yay or nay, the nay's were overwhelmingly vocal. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Yeah, they don't really like him anymore. He's philosophically pretty pure, but politically, he hasn't been a great friend to the party for a while.

I haven't been a member of the LP for quite some time, but I have to say, I agree with their membership. There are plenty of libertarians out there. It's not like there's only one big name in the movement, either. Johnson's a much more charismatic speaker, and has executive experience.

The weed thing is going to be a problem, though. Not that it really matters, but libertarians always get painted with drugs, hookers, and gambling, and quickly dismissed.

So tired of this country. What's wrong with drugs, hookers, and gambling?

He's running in the GOP, he couldn't accept the nomination anyways.

Fuck who? The Libertarian Party, who won't nominate someone who's currently running for another party's nomination, and who has said he wouldn't accept?

Does Ron Paul own the LP?

I like Dr. Paul, voted for him in the Republican primary, and would proudly cast another vote for him if given the chance, but we can't reasonably expect the Libertarians to nominate him.

Yep, there's a dude in drag dressed as a street prostitute running around the convention constantly sticking his face and ass in the camera! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! It's on CSPAN. People are trying to ignore him but he's persistent. I wonder why they didn't throw his ass out.

It's been known for quite awhile. No surprise at all.

Dr. Paul had expressed that he would neither seek the nomination of the Libertarian Party nor would he accept it if it was offered to him.

Non-issue, imo.

That sounds more like the Green Party to me. I have failed to see leftists/reds at ant LP event in my state.
