Progressives bolster obama and pander to the unthinking leading them with lies: “Economy Has Recovered All Private Sector Jobs Lost Since Obama T
Although Think Progress is not a website using valid data only the musings of a "progressive" Michael Linden, the Director of Tax and Budget Policy at the Center for American Progress Action Fund and a man that adheres to progressive beliefs such as selective taxing of the rich will solve our financial overspending.

Unfortunately, there will be obama followers who clamor for these economic lies and willingly follow the hogwash without applying basic common sense and research to verify these misleading claims.

What people fail to consider the drop in unemployment is due in part to all those who have lost unemployment benefits. In California alone during the month of May as many as 93,000 will lose unemployment benefits and New York 46,000 and be dropped from the statistics thus joining others living in tent city obamavilles.

Further aiding the uptick in obama administration's unemployment statistics is the number of people applying for and receiving disability all on the taxpayer’s dime, which is simply creating a larger government dependant class.

Job growth chills in spring after thawing in winter

Spring usually means a thaw, but that's not the case for the U.S. job market.

The burst of hiring that came last winter, which raised hopes the job market was improving, apparently was just a short reprieve in the slowest recovery in six decades.

As the state of the recovery and the health of the job market increasingly dominate the presidential election campaign, the numbers aren’t good news for the White House.

Labor Force Shrinks As Jobless Swell Disability Ranks
Had the labor force not declined, unemployment would have been 8.3% in April, instead of the 8.1% reported.

That same month, more than 225,000 workers applied for Social Security disability benefits, and nearly 90,000 were enrolled, according to new data from the Social Security Administration.

90,000 Californians to lose unemployment pay in May

California’s longest-term unemployed — as many as 93,000 — will see a cutoff in jobless benefits in mid-May because the state no longer meets the federal threshold for emergency aid.

46,000 NYers Losing Unemployment Benefits This Week

On April 4, 46,000 New Yorkers across the state (about half are in the city) will lose their unemployment benefits this week. The NY State Department of Labor's John Moye told WCBS 2, "It's unprecedented, absolutely. It's a reflection of the economic challenges we're facing in the country, particularly in our state."

There Are 100 Million Working Age Americans That Do Not Have Jobs

The unemployment crisis in America is much worse than you are being told. Did you know that there are 100 million working age Americans that do not get up in the morning and go to work? No wonder why it seems like there are so many people that do not have jobs! According to the federal government, there are 12.6 million working age Americans that are considered to be "officially" unemployed, but there are another 87.8 million working age Americans that are not working either. The federal government considers those Americans to be "not in the labor force" so they are not included in the unemployment rate. In fact, this is one of the key ways that the government manipulates the unemployment numbers. The Obama administration would have us believe that the unemployment rate is going down and that that since the start of the last recession about as many Americans have left the labor force as we saw during the entire decades of the 1980s and 1990s combined. Of course that is a bunch of nonsense, but that is what the Obama administration would have us believe.
