How about we love those who don't yet truly love themselves, until they can love themselves? It seems to me we should be focusing on changing ourselves and being the example. They say loving ourselves is the greatest love of all. What I myself find odd, is despite this being seemingly such a monumentally important attribute, nobody seems to be focusing on it. Why are we not as a species ensuring ourselves and our young are truly loving themselves in the correct manner (humility, modesty.) It seems like our religions that we try to follow seem to somehow drop the ball here. They say love is letting go of fear and many of the "enlightenment" paths I have looked at all tackle this issue but you would think by now we would have seen the importance of dealing with these things. We spend enormous amounts of time and energy on everything else but we seemingly do not have much of a plan(s) (for the masses) nor desire to truly help ourselves individually (and thus collectively.) Don't we matter? Don't we care? I guess if I was the nobody I would want to help people that want to help themselves right? And people learning to love themselves would seem a right goal to start. So my suggestion is to compile paths that have allowed people to love themselves and awaken to their true nature? When displaying the various paths or links to paths each person can choose their own path. There is no charge for viewing these works either. Those listing these paths for others would do so anonymously. To handle costs anonymous benefactors could be allowed to donate or something if the anonymous group putting it together couldn't manage it themselves for some reason. Your thoughts? |
