It's funny how Politics works. I agree we should all buy American. Go out and check out your cars right now. I have never bought a foreign car in my life. How many here can say the same. Even though I don't agree with Obama on this one or most of his "Free" trade policies here's what happened the last time he included a "Buy American" clause in a bill. This was part of the Stimulus Bill in 2009. We Americans are fickle. We need to make up our minds first before we tell our politicians what to do.

Look under the hood of your American made cars, take the dash apart and examine the components, electronics etc, go to the US factories and do some investigative research and you'll find that most of your American made car was made in China and other countries.

Buy made in America products, should be changed to: "Buy mostly assembled in America!"

When it comes to major manufacturers in the US that is all they really are, assemblers of foreign made products, and even most of those jobs are now either relocated to China and other countries, or outsourced to them.
