"Web services have been terminated"! Very interesting! OK, so the Japan site is down, SOHO has been down for 5 days Quoting: JMSS 11630819 and now the Alaska HAARP site is down. [link to www.haarp.alaska.edu] I find this a bit disconcerting. omg you're right! everything is disappearing! NICT is gone for good! SOHO's live feed has been shut down for the past 4 days! Now HAARP data is down! HAARP shows: "The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request." [link to www.haarp.alaska.edu] |

"Web services have been terminated"! Very interesting! Remember this thread? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15274152 Thread: Getting laid of from NASA time to spill the beans. I've been trawling through the NICT magnetosphere simulation videos ever since I read this. I was trying to predict whether we would see another Carrington Event in the near future. One hit could destroy our domestic gas pipes, mains cables and every wire down to the tracks on our computer systemboards. The electromagnetic flux could induce electric currents in our bodies, triggering involuntary muscle movements, heart spasms and failures. In 1959, numerous sunspots were recorded just before a huge geomagnetic storm caused the following: "Telegraph systems all over Europe and North America failed, in some cases even shocking telegraph operators. Telegraph pylons threw sparks and telegraph paper spontaneously caught fire. Some telegraph systems appeared to continue to send and receive messages despite having been disconnected from their power supplies." Quoted from [link to en.wikipedia.org] Here's a slightly scary example our sun shield getting a bashing late last year courtesy of NICT. Note how the pressure goes off the scale (the white area facing the Sun) The NASA guy should be very worried about another Carrington Event in our lifetime. If he was telling the truth, he was aware that the Sun was going to "boil over" very soon. Please, don't have nightmares! It might not happen for a while. escuse me for being so blunly honest but I think you are full of shit ... the X-40+ that we got during a Solar minimus (snicker) back in 02 that was directed towards Earth (came in at an angle just like Carrington) but it didn't do any of the things you say will happen if we were to get another big X flare ... most people didn't even know it happened ... and it was so over the top of their stupid scale they don't rightly know how strong it was ... so STFU - because you don't know what you are talking about either I have been following the data ever since that time, and there is nothing "unusual" going on, the shield turns white from the pressure of the incoming CME - naturally ... and anyone who watches on a regular basis knows that which is not to say that NASA isn't covering up their lies, by closing down the website ... but really why would they do that when the "realtime simulation" is animation and they can make it show anything they want ... |

NASA has stated in writting, (officially) that this has been the weakest solar maximus ever recorded since 1928 ... the last one, was far more active, with sometimes up to 30 X class flares a week ... and the CME from the X48 (as first announced) DID hit the Earth (how could it no being that big) but if being "techinically" right is more important than stating the facts... then continue with your fear mongering - but I doubt that you will have any intelligent response to your baseless claims What is different about this cycle is the polarity issue, now that is something unusual and unique ... but you can't get much info about it other than from the known liars working madly to edit the data so we are kept in the dark about what to expect. |

Had it been a direct hit from a more earth facing position then it would have been a different story. That appears to be undisputed. Except by you it seems. "Web services have been terminated"! Very interesting! Carrington was also a "glancing blow" - quit ignoring the facts ... we GOT HIT by the x48 CME ... and since the Carrington one wasn't even as large - what got to earth from it, was probably not as much as from the big one (that did NO DAMAGE) and that was well before we had satellites up there to get damaged - which neither of them did (not to mention they have been upgraded to handle big CMEs since then) ... we also got a huge solar storm that year and it didn't damage anything either What I have learned to do is trust that the Sun, which was created to sustain us, isn't going to destroy us ... Quoting: Nobody in Particular It is down because of permanent damage and they decided not to rebuild. It used information from the ACE satellite and you ones don't even seem to know that. There are other sites functioning fine. You can suspect games when all the other satellites go down. I have a list of sites I use every day on my thread. BAT R US, although it uses a different imagery works fine in fact. Thread: Nip's solar/quake thread for other linkies, I am not in the mood to post them all again here. [link to ccmc.gsfc.nasa.gov] well shit, it hasn't updated since may 3 either, Neither has SOHO. hmmmm Charming as always, NiP. Explain the simulaton, then. Video of 2003 flare at [link to youtu.be] I watched your link ... as as it happens, I was fortunate to have been watching the Sun at the time the Flare happened ... and it didn't look a thing like the one in your vid ... what I saw and watched "form" took almost an hour to form what looked like a head extended from the sun ... I posted it everywhere I could on the web because I was so sure we were going to be creamed by it ... NOTHING HAPPENED - not from it or the proton storm that followed days later ... I watched a few more vid that said "this is the biggest bla bla bla" and apparently they "edited" the pictures of the actual flare, because they don't look a thing like what we saw in 03 ... you can believe whatever you choose but you are being manipulated by the PTB to believe that this cycle is anything other than sub-normal ... piss poor showing IMO - I don't feel the least bit threatned by the Sun and no one should |
