and now the Alaska HAARP site is down.

I've been trawling through the NICT magnetosphere simulation videos ever since I read this. I was trying to predict whether we would see another Carrington Event in the near future.

One hit could destroy our domestic gas pipes, mains cables and every wire down to the tracks on our computer systemboards.

The electromagnetic flux could induce electric currents in our bodies, triggering involuntary muscle movements, heart spasms and failures.

In 1959, numerous sunspots were recorded just before a huge geomagnetic storm caused the following:

"Telegraph systems all over Europe and North America failed, in some cases even shocking telegraph operators. Telegraph pylons threw sparks and telegraph paper spontaneously caught fire. Some telegraph systems appeared to continue to send and receive messages despite having been disconnected from their power supplies."

Note how the pressure goes off the scale (the white area facing the Sun)

The NASA guy should be very worried about another Carrington Event in our lifetime. If he was telling the truth, he was aware that the Sun was going to "boil over" very soon.

escuse me for being so blunly honest but I think you are full of shit ... the X-40+ that we got during a Solar minimus (snicker) back in 02 that was directed towards Earth (came in at an angle just like Carrington) but it didn't do any of the things you say will happen if we were to get another big X

Actually it was November 2003 and the CME was NOT earth directed which is why nothing Carrington like happened.

there was no magnetosphere reversal, that is some stupid shit by a blind one leading you blind ones.

It is down because of permanent damage and they decided not to rebuild. It used information from the ACE satellite and you ones don't even seem to know that. There are other sites functioning fine. You can suspect games when all the other satellites go down. I have a list of sites I use every day on my thread. BAT R US, although it uses a different imagery works fine in fact. Thread: Nip's solar/quake thread for other linkies, I am not in the mood to post them all again here.

Explain the simulaton, then.

The region which produced that flare was rotating out of sight as it erupted so there was only a glancing blow. Had it been a direct hit from a more earth facing position then it would have been a different story. That appears to be undisputed. Except by you it seems.
