I watched your link ... as as it happens, I was fortunate to have been watching the Sun at the time the Flare happened ... and it didn't look a thing like the one in your vid ... what

There were several events in October and November 2003 and maybe that's a source of confusuion. The largest CME impact/geo-magnetic storm was on November 20th from a CME on the 18th November. The super X-ray event earlier in the month did not generate a strongly geo-effective CME simply because it was in the wrong location to do so. And we were fortunate for that, no I am not saying that the video is "fake" it just isn't a video of the x 40 flare .... just ask around ... plenty of people were watching that cycle (cause it just refused to quit LOL) ... and when that head rose up billions of miles away before it even started to cool off, I knew it was going to be a WINNER ... I saw it LIVE ...YOU DIDN'T so you really don't know what you are talking about ...DO YOU? those of us who saw that flare know what we saw - it was unlike anything anyone has EVER seen before or since ... why they refuse to show us the real pictures is something for you to discern, but obviously you can't tell when someone is being honest with you so why bother ... if you want to believe what was shown on that vid was the X40 flare, go right ahead ... but it only proves how ignorant you are to the rest of us who know what we are talking about ... because we were there - glp was there too why would I lie ... and why won't you believe some Utube vid when you have an eye witness ? but really that is all besides the point ... which is - if an X40 class flare didn't do any damage ... how do you expect us to believe that these little Ms are going to "fry" us ... zero logic
