It sounds like the government is involved in something. Why would they cover up a chemical spill, or flu epidemic? They probably got in the middle of some chemical agent test, or maybe even biological test that went wrong. This could be a minor problem, or it could be the beginning. Maybe a Stephen King book coming to life. When the lies are obvious, there is usally something so bad that it requires a cover story fast.

In an unprecedented ordinance which has generated both speculation and alarm, Peru has closed all ocean beaches north of Lima to the public.

Health officials are taking the extraordinary step of closing the beaches after hundreds of dolphin carcasses washed up on the shores of Peru – and the reason why continues to be a mystery. Peru’s Health Ministry and oceanographic institute say 877 dolphins and 1,200 pelicans have been found dead on the beaches since February, but their deaths don’t appear to be related.

The warning did not indicate why it might be dangerous to visit beaches. Peru's agricultural safety service ruled out Friday that the pelicans could have died of avian flu, which could be contagious to humans.

Peru have been doing horrific things to their fisheries via overfishing and experimental aquaculture. The outcome was inevitable and possibly just the beginning. Do some research and rethink your next can of tuna.

Dolphins and pelicans are both air breathers, which suggests a heavier than air gas, collecting on the waters surface. The dolphins and pelicans both surface after long dives, gulp down H2S or something similar and die. Swimmers on the beaches would be in danger of low lying gas as well.

Closing the beaches seems pretty common sense with all these dead mammals.

It could be from space or the ocean's floor.
