when they started deleting posts i was making about suppressed medical technology, mainly one dr. royal rife, i deleted my account. going on 5 months facebookless and i feel liberated. GLP was, is and always has been my facebook regardless. censorship is for pussies and obama supporters.

Lol. You can't delete your account. I tried. They say you can de-activate your account, but all it takes to re-activate is for you to log back in.

Well I have not logged in since but it was a pain in the ass deleting every picture and friend I had just to de-activate it.

De-activate you account, format your PC, rebuild it and never ever log into it again.

there is a way to forever delete your account. it is in the options page right near the temporary delete button. it would make no sense to re=activate your account to do it though. i thought it was weird that they wanted a bunch of information just to delete your account. it took me like 10-15 minutes to delete my account, even though i bullshitted all the answers to their lame ass questions and on an unrelated point, apparently bullshitted is really a word according to my spellchecker......sweet

I guess it depends who is on your fb. I post these types of things all the time, but I have a lot of like-minded people on mine and they all post the same things. I have also never had any of my posts deleted, but several people that I know have.

This is real talk.. this is the case on Twitter as well..

People are blinded by the material things of this world..

Most of the people on facebook just there because they so desperately care about what others thinking about them, their comments, photos and videos.
Very small percentage of the users actually use it to keep in touch with their friends and organize things.
Most of the friendship over there is also a big lie. Especially womans'. Just open an account with a beautiful girl image and see how retards will desperately will add you as a friend, only seeing the pic and nothing more...

Facebook actually useful for one thing, for seeing how asleep humans actually are.

I personally were using it when it was just started to be a trend and done it just to see what the heck it is.
It is a big loss of time, nothing more.

I will be with my friends on a real place, drinking, enjoying, discussing. Real friends does that, I do not need a friend who just post videos and often updating their photos to see what others think about him/her and cares nothing when it comes to reality.

This was a picture offered as an avatar on here. I just chose her because she looked similar to me. I can't post my real pic until I get enough good karma so I can upgrade my account and put it up. *sigh*

Me too, I only have about 25 "friends" on there and I'm older, mostly on FB to keep in contact with friends in other states and countries. A couple are hard-core Christians but surprisingly they're not the preaching type and one of them actually posts quite a few doom-related vids and stuff like you'd see here!

Yeah, that is originally why I got mine. That is how mine is too. The hard-core Christians on mine have known me pretty much my whole life, so they aren't judgmental and post some of the same things that I do.

Ive been clean for about a year now and it is AMAZING!

I think most people go on FB for a short mental vacation from reality.

You can deactive AND delete the account - they say "permanently" but is anything REALLY ever deleted permanently, in this day and age??
Just type in 'delete account' and it will give you instructions. I feel the same way, no one is listening.
