In the photo linked above: the reading of '5042' would be the depth right? I can't imagine why a whales' placenta would be drifting along a mile deep under the ocean. That seems like an awful long way down just to give birth when eventually both mother and offspring have to take in some oxygen. That would be considered animal cruelty! |

This creature clearly swoops in on the camera(possibly an aggressive action), leaves for a bit, then comes back to investigate. it's behavior is very similar to how a dolphin or seal might react to humans in the wild. it clearly shows a level of intelligence.
