Our good buddy, Nickadeemus (Registered Trademark), found a shipment of them traveling to East Coast parts unknown this afternoon.

Incidentally, when the driver saw Nick snap a photo, he immediately pulled off the highway.

Alright, conspiracy theorists. Commence to conspiracy theorizin'.

Update: Nick's post later this evening.

Whoooooooooooohoooooooooooooooo! This is a pretty thread. Folks I almost missed it. I was doing about 82 MpH two miles south of Elberton Ga. When I realized what they were I slammed on my brakes and let the rig pass me. The driver was wondering what I was doing and I held up my crackberry. When he saw this we went into a braking war and I snapped the shot. He then immediately banked right onto the off ramp of the first exit toward Elberton. I humbly thank Revbo for initiating the thread. Thanks brother. People need to see this. I almost left Elberton the messiest turd they've ever had to Hazmat. Thanks again Rev!!!

Looking at the quoted text above in bold, I would guess the semi dirver thought your friend was either a crazy person or (most likely) that his load had become unsecured and your friend wanted a photo and/or to report it to the police.

As to what the containers are, well I believe them to be low-cost burial vaults, as more states are requiring by law the use of enclosed vaults for burials.

There are about 150 containers on that truck, which equals about 35 minutes-worth of people dieing on average each day. (Around 6,100+ people die each day here in the USA)

Besides, in a SHTF scenario, who would bother wasting their time burying 3-4 at a time, or waste time placing bodies in a container in the first place when burning them is the cheapest and most efficient way to dispose of them?

One word - Dachau. Do you know the smell of burning flesh? Another word - Auschwitz. In order to dispose of masses of people without revealing the true nature of camps, at least for the first phase of a takeover/internment, they aren't going to just start burning and burying bodies in mass graves. They will do so efficiently and remove all evidence in some back 40 on some large plot of land related to a camp. That's just common sense.
