Re: A mole in my backyard behaving very friendly...is this fairly common?
I have a mole coming out of its hole regularly when we are there 3 feet away, eyes open looking at me showing no fear. I don't know how common is this, I was just about to make a thread about it.

It is waiting for you to turn your back on it.

It will leap on your ass, and lay parasite eggs in your brian.

Wow! Somebody who can actually take a functional PICTURE of the shit they're seeing, and upload it in a timely manner!

5 stars and a good karma for you!

What the fuck people, take a lesson!

Re: the mole, just enjoy its company. It's clear it's communicating with you in its own way... everything does. Now you will understand moles from now on and have an alliance with them.

There was a baby armadillo in our back yard today that wasn't particularly afraid of us. When we gave him some water he drank for a long time. It was about 6 inches long, not counting the tail.

That's a gopher.

The chances of you ever seeing a mole even half way out of the ground is slim to none.

Correct, unless the dog digs it out and it's dead.

moles around my house don't last long
enough for me to find out if they are
friendly or not.

my dogs see to that ;)

they dig them out of the ground
and have a nice lunch.

The tiny friend i think is a gopher..it senses no harm from you...is a blessing when we can share this with others but more beautiful and meaningful when they can sense no harm from us!! and let you know!
